Make sure you set up your bed and pillows to keep your head raised the first few days to sleep. My doc had me on a steroid to reduce swelling, be aware that if you have to do that it may cause mood changes. It’s an outpatient surgery so it won’t be too bad even rurally!

Have lots of water, broth, and easy to eat stuff handy. Soft foods will be best. First few days I had bleeding then a lot of drainage from my nose so have lots of soft tissues. You absolutely CANNOT blow your nose for 1-2 weeks or you could end up having to go to surgery again

Hey there! I know it’s scary to go through this but it’ll be okay I had to have my deviated septum and bone in my face moved and rebuilt just like you. If you can, get someone to help for the first week of recovery and stay on top of your pain meds because it will be sore.
