The section about the slide being from the artbook is really weakly sourced and highly unlikely to be true. There is no book layout elements on the slide and plenty of 3rd party images. Also the formatting doesnt fit. Reporting this as fact is a bit sloppy.
Anjin Anhut / available for freelanceOkay, fuck it! I can prove the #Avatar slide it's not from the artbook. With just a quick mockup using the cover of the upcoming artbook as reference for page dimensions. (see alt text) @comicsbeat.bsky.social what are you on about? I'm sorry for my rant about the book approval thingy.
200%!!! If you ever have the opportunity to purchase or borrow this book here: Batman Animated by Paul Dini & Chip Kidd. (Because that's where that storyboard can be found in.)... YOU RUN AND GRAB IT!!! I am so so so so serious. This book needs a reprint, fuck. Like, GET YOUR HANDS ON IT!!!
Amanda WongSeeing the storyboards for "The Man Who Killed Batman" when I was 17 was one of the canon events that led me to change careers to animation
And yeah, equally delighted for the Lisa Hanawalt spot . Good times.
Small Press ExpoSmall Press Expo is proud to welcome back Lisa Hanawalt @lisahanawalt.bsky.social to the SPX fold as a Special Guest! “I Can’t Stop Thinking About Horses and Sex,” marks the long-awaited return of Tuca & Bertie creator and BoJack Horseman producer/production designer Lisa Hanawalt to comics.

Y'know, I was thinking, "what on Earth could we possibly get from a Scrooge prequel that we haven't gotten from the many adaptations of A Christmas Carol, which literally bake in the prequel?" Knowing this background now, the answer's obvious: a Christmas Carol that makes us feel bad for rich men.
Kat TenbargeThere’s an even more sinister angle to Johnny Depp’s ongoing “comeback” tour as the new Scrooge—it’s a Paramount production and part of a slate of Ellison-backed conservative cultural takeover attempts. It’s angled around MeToo rejection and the manosphere. spitfirenews.com/p/johnny-dep...
