I personally don't think it's being talked about enough how Ultimate Guard is taking advantage of a new wave of creators unaware or ignorant of their previous BS to attempt to rehabilitate their image/ more likely just act like it never happened

Universes Beyond benefits from the focus and feeling of place a single narrative provides That world can be large and expansive, and a magic set definitely benefits from it being so, but the contained scope of a good story grounds a set in a way that trying to represent years of continuity can't
Kurohitsuki Member of Decked OutHobbit feels like a regular Magic set in soo many ways. Just this singular focus on this one particular Battle (of the 5 armies) and the adventure that leads up to it feels soo Amonket—> Hour or Kaladesh—>Aether Revolt. Just feels soo contained unlike a massive Universe (Beyond)
