Everyone should have the same basic education up to age 16. Subject choice should be widened, but not to the extent that it causes issues in the longer term. More funding for FE is the answer. Not de-educating children.

I appreciate it’s far more complicated than that, but mobility is pretty standard for humans, we’ve been doing it for tens of thousands of years.
