Today applied this relationship advice from my dad to the editing process: In math, there is a process called "integration", going back to the last successful formula. Relationships also need some sort of integration system to back up just a little and view the situation from when things were OK.

I want to get out of the city but am having total decision paralysis. Injured knee means I can't cycle or do a long walk. Could take the car but worry about parking. Debated so many options that now all I feel like doing is taking a nap.

One thing I really like about Irish funerals is that it's by far more important that you show up than it is what you wear. You can dress up or go casual; you can wear bright colours and prints or dark colours. Black isn't particularly common tbh. Funerals are truly 'come as you are' events.

It still blows my mind that people are showing up to health clinics with colds, flus, etc wearing no masks. This place is literally full of people with issues! Wear a mask!

As an American living in Ireland, the customs charges are quite annoying because it means that my family no longer posts gifts and care packages to me here. Obviously a 1st-world prob but it's sad because gifts ordered online and vouchers just aren't the same.
