I like how every character in Daemons (both human and Daemon) is both an adorable goofball and very adept at stabbing people. She's sick but fun!

The Walmarts here have gotten rid of DVD sections in some stores that they renovated. But are also still stocking them in many stores? It's confusing. Sunrise is more dependable for selection, but it was nice to have a cheap movie place so hope they add it back eventually.

Sarah Sherman's may be the more extreme tho now that I think about it (she is really into special effects & gross out stuff). I liked Patton Oswalt and Jim Gaffigans recent specials, for gentler (but still sharp) fare

I really liked Atsuko Okatsuka's "Father" special. Haven't seen em yet but based off their SNL work & late night appearances Julio Torres and Sarah Sherman's standup specials are probably pretty offbeat/fun.

My fave of theirs was Two Flowers for The Dragon (sadly just 1 vol away from being finished when they shuttered). After a few initial hiccups they were doing fun stuff, probably would have continued if not for the manga bust.

It's a pretty good time to be an X-men fan.

Cartoons are for all ages, but maybe Grampa shouldn't drive anymore.

(( tho those poor Landos should be clearanced. A Walmart I go to here used to be bad about not clearancing old stuff. Meanwhile others are like "here's a some $3 Generations deluxes" ))

When it's just a new run of a given figure now with slightly updated packaging ("Bumblebee Wars" etc).

I had thought that is part of why lines like Transformers do refreshes? Walmarts here always clears out the old lines before a new launch. Also makes it clear when old toys are actually new stock (ie- assorted Cyberverse toys being re-released. Tho weirdos think that's old stock in new packaging)
