it's truly a very natural reaction to think things are about us or to build our own narratives around what we see online! But it's very good to step back and think about how these sites work and how little we know in general about others on here

and for anybody who ever experiences this, 9 times out of 10 or 99 out of 100, whatever thing you think you perceive is probably not there and it's just that your online friend has been preoccupied with whatever's going on in their own life. Take it easy and remember that #online

it's not anything where there's ever much parasocial investment, but I've just gotten used to experiencing Confusion on here, like why did a years-long mutual I would talk to fully stop interacting, or why is this person interacting so much, are they flirting, oh no
