Where I live, we don’t trust our local farmers markets very much. A lot of them don’t actually grow their own stuff and instead get them from less trustworthy resources AND try to sell them as organic or locally grown.

I won’t name names but I learned that some high-end restaurants buy restaurant packaged stouffer’s lasagnas, place them side by side in a large baking pan, sprinkle extra shredded mozzarella, marinara and dried oregano on top before baking - then serve. Yes. I’ve been fooled and it wasn’t bad.

As a caregiver to an aging parent with dementia, we have cameras throughout the house and most definitely in her room. Are you kidding me? Do you not have one in a baby’s room? Get real. And, how do you know it’s hidden? All ours are in the open. Act at your own risk of privacy loss.

💯 it’s literally the cheapest and most appreciated homemade “gift” when we go to anyone’s house for dinner. Even more than a bottle of wine. I just love the smell of baking bread so no skin off my teeth to bake a loaf 😋 & I can whip the dough up in seconds the night before for cold ferment. Win-win.
