Please donate if you are able. Several years ago I needed five transfusions under emergency circumstances. I could literally feel the life coming back into my body with every pint, life given through the generous donations of strangers. Eternally grateful.
Megaholt 𓅃If you’re able to donate blood, PLEASE do so. As an ICU nurse, I promise you that we are in dire need of blood and blood products for patients. We do whatever we can in order to avoid transfusing, but we can’t always replace lost blood with normal saline or Lactated Ringers.
