Vintage uranium glass contains trace depleted uranium. The (low) radiation emitted is mostly in the form of alpha particles, which are blocked by the glass itself and can't penetrate your skin. *As someone who represented a known performer in his 80s who is still doing amazing one man shows, people age differently because of (many different factors). And not all performers "have to" keep getting of stage because of financial issues (this guy doesn't). He just loves it (+ so do his fans). 🤷🏻‍♀️

Voices change and age (it will happen to you too), so it might not be the same sound from decades ago, but people want to see the acts they love, and performers want to perform*. You don't have to go.

I'm seeing a lot of commentary about older performers like, "they need to get off the stage!", "it's time to retire!", "why are they still performing?" Why? Because they can, and there's an audience.
