@jessicaalice.bsky.social Just a heads up that someone is sending emails from a gmail account pretending to be you and soliciting appearances for the Byron Writers Festival. I received one. (I know this is becoming more and more common, so I wanted to give you a heads up.)

Got a fake invite to virtually appear at the Byron Writers Festival this morning. The sender's name is a real person. But it was a gmail address, not the festival URL. Email had the right website, but the street address is incorrect vs. the festival site. Stay safe out there, kittens.
