European civil law, which exists only in Louisiana today statewide, excludes entirely any consideration of human = property. crimes exist there that involves this type of behavior, but can never be argued in a court as possibly legal, unlike state laws in the US and Commonwealth.

You’re right on this point. For a while I’ve been trying to understand how does one treat a husband/wife or children, as property & am struggling to. It appears as old school common law, from cotton plantation times, & property laws before the Constitution/ Federal laws came along

This is a horribly tragic. Presumably people work hard in ‘capitalism’ to achieve the dream of this type with a happy numerous family, and a beautiful wife, mind you, and a healthier negative outcome is usually adultery or abandonment, but mass murder of this type means severe mental stress.
