So I genuinely try not to think about it too much because it literally is mentally daunting. I literally know and have experienced this kind of thousand-yard stare... Oh hey RDJ nice to see you again :)

But also, seriously, when you first learn about the scope of a project like that, the weight of the responsibility hits you and everyone on that project literally went through some kind of mental shock coming to terms with what we were responsible for (the safety of the planet in short)

I mean if you want to call this some kind of humility... ... I had not entertained the idea that [for any reason] I'd find myself wondering or thinking about the possibility that literal royalty would be offended by me assuming that they'd take no interest in myself checking out their dope house.

I didn't realize I'm significant enough to the residents for them to be offended by my absence... I'll head there and try, but if I can't find a way to enter I'm not going to do anything weird.

No, there's a financial incentive to be safer because the economic damage a single news article of a roller coaster ride getting stuck on a lift hill (which is actually a safety feature activating and operating properly) is huge People avoid parks that have any kind of accident with extreme vigor

I worked at Disney a while ago. Do you know why theme parks are so safe? Because OOSHA reps can walk the track on any ride at any time and any safety violation they see is a $10,000 fine. Each. Theme parks are not safe because the company cares. They're safe because it's cheaper to comply.

Important thing to note here is that this is evidence the US is use location data to alter online presences of prices to artificially / propagandize the appearance of the increase in cost of living A grocery store in the US showed $3.75 for a pint of cookie dough ice cream, reality is 267% worse

I noticed while price comparing UK and US groceries US $ amounts listed online are lies NYC, I often saw cookie dough Ice Cream at $10 a pint Whereas grocery websites only show either extremely rural areas (where it might be cheaper, but often isn't) or blatantly lie on urban prices
