Why are all the pourover coffee kettles like 1000W power? My normal kettle is 3kW. I don't want to wait 10 minutes for the bloody thing to boil like I'm an American. They don't even hold that much water. Like come on kettle makers, make one for those of us with functioning electrical grids.

Tried to use hotter water to make my pourover coffee having determined the temperature loss between my (non-gooseneck) kettle and the little Hario air jug was putting it outside the ideal range and yeah, now I think I need to buy a kettle specifically for making coffee.
