I would call and email people like normal. Maybe analyze a database in Excel or Google Sheets. Timestamp interviews if I was in a rush and couldn't transcribe them in full.

The theme is #FabulousWaders for the #BirdOfTheDay. So here’s a photo of that one time I saw Roseate Spoonbills in Delaware, which is far out of their normal range. Truly fabulous! Oh, and there’s a bonus Tricolored Heron hidden in the shadows. #birds 🌿

Good morning all. For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme I've chosen #FabulousWaders Any wading bird that you love! For me it's the Avocet, a calm and graceful beauty wading along the shoreline! 🤍🪶 The Alt. theme is #Speckled any bird with speckled patterns on its plumage. 📷 #birds #photography #ECK

I would have been another statistic. At 6:25AM another cyclist killed by a car. Not by the driver cos the driver decided that they could make the turn but by a car. When we get in a car we have to be aware and concious all the time that we are able to kill or maim people anytime

I was crossing the crosswalk this morning and 2 cars turning left decided to cut me off. One so close that the driver stopped before hitting me and was almost in tears. Did it have to be that way? Not at all. Would I have been tweeting this if the car had hit me, also no.

Cars are so much better. They're so much more durable, they get vastly better gas mileage, and most of all, they are SO MUCH SAFER.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

We probably need to ban cars until we figure out why this keeps happening.

My personal rule is that if a person’s foremost issue with any given community is “division,” what follows is typically a defense of the status quo and a call to concede to its demands.

There is a lengthy pro-AI screed in the latest HWA newsletter and it is . . . a mood.

6/6 This glaring omission occurs despite security experts warning that Indigenous communities are prime targets for foreign disruption. The registry is a tool for visibility, not a shield against subversion. Source: Elizabeth Thompson, CBC News www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

5/6 The registry arrives two years after Bill C-70 was passed. Anyone attempting to influence federal, provincial, or municipal politicians for a foreign state must now register. Crucially, attempts to influence Indigenous leaders were left out of the regulations.

4/6 So, who is responsible for catching the spies? That monumental task remains squarely with the RCMP and Canada's national security agencies. Yet shockingly, despite taking office, Boegman has not yet received a briefing from any security agency.

2/6 Anton Boegman draws a sharp line between two distinct threats: influence and interference. His new office is designed strictly to monitor "legitimate activities" and shed light on who is lobbying on behalf of foreign governments. It has limits.

YES IT’S ADORABLE, and with the velocity and accuracy made possible with Plateau bows+skilled bow hunters this could penetrate most prey (and most poorly armed enemies). This arrowhead style started ~1,200 years ago and was still popular when settlers showed up ~200 years ago.

Is it the cutest arrowhead I’ve ever found? Yes! Is it light, lethal and still sharp af? Also yes! Such skilled technique and artistry to make this charming killer from a single flake of volcanic stone 😍 Recovered in Tl'kemtsin / Lytton, Nlaka'pamux territory.
