15. Do you have a favorite of your writing projects? Bloodbound is my favorite right now because it's what I'm focused on getting to come together. Doing it in a serial format has been fun and a unique challenge since sometimes my loose plan doesn't quite work like I thought and I have to pivot

14. What's your favorite part of your current WIP? It is a scene upcoming in Bloodbound part five. Its gonna be soo good. Faine cannot catch a break and I do want her to :D

13. What drives you to write? Nothing else in my life, short of mutual aid work, has compared to how writing makes me feel. Telling stories itself is what drives me, although I'm happy to do that on paper, in ttrpgs, in any way that I can. I think I'd be a less curious person if I didn't write

12. Do you have a favorite character? I have a lot of fun writing Verris. I think my favorite is Karima, only because I've got an upcoming project with them that is like really enticing but extremely difficult so its mostly just imaginings right now. Picking favorites is harddd

11. Have you ever had writer's block? OH YEA. I went YEARS post-MFA not writing much of anything because I was so burnt out and medically fucked. It was super scary honestly because my whole identity was wrapped up in being a writer (I guess it still is a little, shhhh)

10. What's the most wholesome thing you've ever written? ....uh I don't really have much for this category. I guess the poem I wrote to read at my dad's wedding. I was asked to do it and it wasn't very good but it was sweet. I also write a poem to ask a girl to prom in high school

9. What're your favorite themes? UHHHHHH autonomy, relationships to one another, what we owe to each other, boundaries of the unknown/known. Stuff like that. Devotion is a big one (and its downsides).

8. Where do your ideas come from? Everywhere, kind of. I like to ask questions and then take the answers to extremes. Curiosity is at the center of all my ideas. Sometimes dreams, but those are usually just side notes rather than a whole concept. Asking questions is the best way for me to begin

7. What's your least favorite part of writing? Honestly, there isn't really a part I don't like. I guess this counts: when my body finds it to difficult to write. My ME/CFS makes writing very cognitively demanding and that means that I dont have a lot of energy in my day for it and its frustrating

6. What's your favorite type of symbolism? I don't know that I have one! I kinda use whatever fits the story. I'm sure there are common choices I make that aren't occuring to me right now

5. What's your favorite type of scene to write? Arguments. I think they're fun, especially with supernatural weirdness going on. Theyre also great for those little moments of characterization

4. Who is your favorite author? Oh god, I feel like this changes pretty frequently because I always read another person's work and fall in love with it. My most recommended to other people is NK Jemisin I think so we'll go with her
