Except in the US, “chicken and dumplings” doesn’t mean a dumpling stuffed with chicken. The dumpling is basically pasta, in a chicken sauce…

Thrilled to have our LSE School of Public Policy Executive MPA and Executive MPP students back on campus for our Policy in Practice week. This year's simulation was on Environmental Impacts of AI, with a walkout crisis!

Postdoc alert! Fellow in Public Policy at the LSE School of Public Policy. Up to 3 years, a great job in a tight market. Needs to be able to support teaching on our MPP program, but political scientists could definitely do this (make your case!) www.jobs.lse.ac.uk

An advert promoting an AI company at Bristol Airport has been pulled after backlash. The advert showed a female AI worker who will 'never ask for a raise'.

That cross!! Ashes are supposed to be a sign of repentance; not virtue signaling. Actual Catholics aren’t performative about this — the cross is usually a bit uneven (and there’s a gradient in color) and it starts to fall off almost immediately. Lack of humility defeats the point!

Rubio was Catholic before he was Mormon before he was Evangelical before becoming Catholic again He was also anti-Trump, anti-dictator Orban and pro-Ukraine before becoming Trump’s White Nationalist toady on the world stage Quite a journey

This is so cool. Hi, friends!

I made a map of 3.4 million Bluesky users - see if you can find yourself! bluesky-map.theo.io I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail
