And yet I'm seeing this repeatedly on the same "media" I'm told is not reporting on it. It's being photographed, written about and analyzed on professional news sources that I'm simultaneously told on vanity apps the news "never" reports about this.

My children love the library, and they’re not even especially bookwormy. They get out of the house, interact with people (my 9-year-old just made a new friend at the library), explore bookshelves and toys they have, and take home books that look fun. Libraries are so great.

Unhinged? The hinge melted as in a Dali painting. Sometimes people talk about the Barack Obama presidency as an ignition point: Whites’ heads exploding, counter-reaction, acting out, MAGA, etc. Seems clearly true. Underreported, perhaps, is how Michelle Obama as First Lady was even more potent.

Popeye came on “pay TV” when I was a kid. I watched it, hated it, and watched it again and again as hate-watching turned into fascination. What a weird movie that was.

That’s a big problem. I lived through that presidency. The lies, the incompetence, the assaults on civil liberties and constitutional order, the appointment of Justice Samuel Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts, the GWOT, war crimes and torture normalization, all set the stage for today.
