It's not always bad, but if you're an IP holder, and you outsource pretty much everything...what's your value? If you keep using the cheapest outsource studio and never build expertise, how will your IP stay relevant outside of nostalgia? The future will be...interesting

and the outsourcing studio themselves use contractors, again offsetting the risk to them There are some crazy cases in video game (esp. mobile) that most people don't know about where giant massive corps release games, but actually 99.9% of the art was outsourced, down the initial art direction...

The people who made them and the expertise they've build over decades! It's crazy how every industry today is being "uber-ized", getting rid of the permanent workers, use outsourcing-studios instead, make them fight for the lowest rate, and put all the risk on them, and bag in all the juicy profits

AAA games are super expensive and its a great way to play these game if you're ok to wait a bit I was able to play RE Requiem, RE2, RE4 like this for "free" a few month after release! play cool game for free and support your local library...its a win win

Joke aside its so well made, cage is too small and of course hams shouldnt live in group like this…but its a cute ad, i love how you can see the wires holding instruments and how obvious it is that they put food on the them to get a few convincing shots 😭

Idk what warpinator is, but local send feels like the ultimate local file sharing, it works flawlessly accross all platforms with a great UI
