Drove over to the locks buuut unfortunately for me everyone else in Seattle also thought it'd be a good afternoon to say hi to the salmon and there wasn't a good place to park. (I am allergic to parallel parking, esp in the Xterra 💀). So I'll try again later, or maybe tomorrow or Monday. 🙃

Barely 10am and already have groceries for the week, and without the stress of an overly busy store... I should do Saturday 8am grocery runs more often!

It's been a little weird to therapist in Seattle this week. Some but not all pts have brought it up. I've felt a little stuck on, "I wasn't (and wouldn't have been) there but St. Paul's is like 2 blocks over and if they still had their 5pm services..." Like I said, it's been a little weird.

There's a Q in r/therapists along the lines of, how to therapist in the aftermath of a mass shooting? &I appreciate this reply (from a CBTer with whom I often disagree!), which is wayyy better than my ex-therapist's, "you know you're not going to get shot, right?" after yet another Belltown shooting

I'm not going to go into the office today (so as to avoid Blue Angels flyover noise) buuut if I get myself up and dressed by 8 then I have enough time to walk over to the coffee shop for an iced lavender latte and bagel before my first session. 😁
