We went to Andy Burnham's constituency to ask his voters what they think are the biggest issues facing Britain. This voter hits the nail on the head. It's not immigration that's the problem - it's the people who keep telling you it is.

I am steadily forming the opinion that Burnham is thicker than custard.

We live in Rip Off Britain. We need wealth taxes. Rent controls. And real action on the climate crisis - that brings bills down. This is how we make hope normal again.

This might sound like nit-picking but pensions aren't welfare. Pensions are funded by NI so are earned. Presumably successive governments prudently invested the pension part of the increased NI contributions in the full knowledge that one day the boomer generation would get old?

Labour are unchanged by Burnham and voters are seeing it already. It's heartening.
