Slowly lumbering zombies always seemed so unrealistic to me, but now I have a crawling baby who follows me everywhere I go at a relatively slow speed, and if I'm quick enough I can do things to stay ahead of him, but I very much understand zombie movies.

I'm writing thank you notes to all of our daycare teachers, and my hand is cramping up terribly. I can't believe I used to longhand write out essays during exams. No wonder paper charts used to be so concise.

I took a personal finance class as an undergrad at Stanford. The lady who taught it had worked in the financial aid department for decades. She said her best piece of financial advice was to buy a home in Palo Alto 30 years prior. That's what she'd done.
