I notice more and more people pronounce the word ancient like 'aynk-shent' and it sounds so weird to me as someone who has always heard it pronounced 'ayn-shent' (basically a soft c, such as in 'excite') growing up. Made some progress on Gold '97 Reforged last night, beating Jasmine's Gym. Her design is very different but I still really like it. We managed to end up beating her without using my Fire Type Starter Pokémon as well!
