I similarly feel like every time I hold a book, I am holding part of someone's life force

Tobias Wilson-Bates

Sometimes in a library I imagine each book as years of an author’s life such that you are standing amidst uncounted hours of effort and concentration like some oasis of meaningful time.

Thank you!!! @arsenalpulp.bsky.social @mcgillarts.bsky.social

Diana

I just finished @aketchum22.bsky.social and Megan J. Elias's "Queers at the Table"! I resonated with stories of trans community through shared meals, the use of zines and magazines to spread knowledge and queer culture, & the history of the ways we celebrate and feed ourselves. I won't soon forget.
