My books are scared of their AUTHOR and so was the audience :D some refused to read until all chapters were posted, because they knew I'd see everything through properly, but the between-chapters places were too upsetting to stay in

Beginning the herculean task of re-measuring everything, by remeasuring everything that's either at least top 100 or that I'd made a video about, but by shortest first. And it's looking pretty promising, and that pleases me :)

Then, all the LOUD or attention demanding stuff gets uppercase, and F becomes A and it counts back down… making total maximum saturation, FFF, like triple forte. It's perfect. And conveys the information better. And… no change in actual functionality, just letter grades within categories.

At least one person's noticed that I have a working version up while I get the details right on the GFX and the look of the thing. I have a giant upgrade in aesthetics since the tiny version fully uses tonecolor with both of the stripes being also a tonecolor plot over time. Oddly satisfying :)

May simply have to make a ginormous explanatory video about it next weekend, it's certainly been taking up enough of my time that it's warranted. By now all the weirder quirks are fixed. It's also continuing to do better at liking genuine top 10 hit records across a wide gamut of styles.

Revising Meter some more: in line with making tone color the same as the dot colors, I'm throwing away hundreds and hundreds of measurements to try making the 'letter grade' care about total tonal balance rather than just peak-slew. It is stricter, kinda. Seems to be working. Simpler to explain.

Alternately, you can unironically want Mother Russia to bomb everyone else into submission and make the world safe for the ghost of Lenin to have peace in a glorious do-over. Might not rise to the level of a good argument though. I object to that being a GIVEN. How about nope.

If each window was just horizontal and overlays a DAW track, you get to have a verbose track name plain to see. If you had your heart set on vertical tracks like a mixer, it can do that but for now it's just the first letter (and tone color) that shows what it is.

It means if you have a ConsoleX3 mix you can have all these little displays with the track name on 'em, and with a click and drag you get to adjust it and then put it back to the little-thumbnail size. They all show tone color so it should reveal exactly what's going on in a mix, over tiny displays.
