The pain was very intense when I woke up today. The meds are taking the edge off it now at least! I'm going to make it through this 💜

It's time!

Managed to sleep okay. Got woken up at 5am by nurses but got back to sleep again after. Then got woken up by nurses two more times. Still, I don't feel completely exhausted! I do feel pretty thirsty though... more thirsty than hungry even. Surgery is this afternoon... nervous and very excited...

I'm through the worst part of surgery prep... now I just have to get through the "no water until after the surgery" part

Checked into the hospital now. It's nice, the hospital clothes are cozy... got this thing put into my arm which isn't very comfortable. It's hard to believe that this is really happening! I'm excited, despite my very low level of energy right now

Fasting has got to be one of the worst times to get that shrimp fried rice Miku song stuck in your head

Landed!! Nice flight, we actually got a meal even though it was only around 2 hours!
