normally its mean revision but it's odd cause what if the entire bid in july was capital inflows in a weird way. or im way overthinking it Just seeing SPX up with Apple down 10% breaks my brain a bit

what you do in this situation is a straddle even tho that's insanely expensive cause people will have opinions and whichever way we know it was some derivative larger nominal volume impact

Anyways that means apple is oversold, long 0dte's! it's too big a part of SPY! Lol it was a smart funding source for being extra long semi's except in this timeperiod.

So given that apple's entire July rise was somehow short covering price discovery to wipe out a find as a 2nd order effect of him being short semi's, it's drop yesterday and today is literally just resetting to the price before he got wiped out (it's funny assuming he scaled into the max position)

Then I can claim I discovered a super ancient culture from millions of years ago that oddly mirrored ours in lots of ways and sell the artifacts to museums!

We've gotta make the Monorail Simpsons episode required viewing for every city councilor in the country. Every single thing he says here is a lie. A Potemkin Village Imaginarium.

Hassett: "Data centers are very good for towns bc they create so many jobs & bring people in with high incomes that can buy houses & stuff like that. So if you take a sleepy town that hasn't seen much in the last 30 years & put a data center there, there are gonna be a bunch of happy residents."

Update from the WSJ this AM: official number per SALP is -67%, meaning a $30bn loss. $10bn of privates plus $5bn of remaining unlevered equity positions remain, and they plan on continuing to run an unlevered equity LO sleeve going forward. Still up 80% YTD!

To get an interview to work at one of mine mining companies (yes one of), you need to climb down a 3,000 foot shaft and tunnel 8 inches further into the earth with no safety equipment. Now, in the interview itself, we're going to be [REDACTED] with explosives. Don't worry, the company has a permit

lol I'll suggest that next time in SV Some (definitely a minority) of the company execs on this scale are not idiots but grinding their teeth lol
