American Federal Employees Europe Council

Профиль Vively

The voice of federal employees and their families across Europe. Championing public service, federal workers’ rights, common-sense democracy, and the 🇺🇸. We’re not going anywhere.

$40 trillion in debt. The current White House calls it progress. History calls it a warning. Every empire reaches the moment when leaders confuse borrowing with prosperity and applause with accountability. The debt isn't just financial—it's moral. Eventually, reality always audits power. Vote smart.

The leagues calling for accountability are standing up for football itself. The game must be protected from unchecked power, commercial excess, and the prioritisation of profit over supporters, players, and integrity. Others—including the USA—could learn from this courage.

The administration's pursuit of the Anti-Weaponization Fund through appeal should alert the country to what's ahead if Congress doesn't change hands. America, you're on notice. Vote like your future—and your rights—depend on it.

Support change and a return to democracy—not blind ideology. Dems need to be smart. USA is largely middle-of-the-road, and no list of left-wing priorities wins Congress. Without congressional majorities, ambitious agendas go nowhere while everyday Americans pay the price. Focus on winning first.

If reports are true that the federal EEO process is being dismantled, it's an attack on fairness, accountability, and the federal workforce. Stop targeting the people who keep government running. Undermining civil servants undermines the services Americans depend on.

If not noticed: The U.S. dollar buys fewer euros today than it did during Biden's last year in office. A weaker dollar means Americans have less purchasing power abroad and pay more for imports. Exchange rates aren't everything, but they're one measure of economic strength.

The Trump administration treats accountability like it's DEI—something to eliminate. Every failure is someone else's fault. At this rate, George Washington will be blamed for kicking out the British and "starting this whole mess."

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is right: Sen. Mitch McConnell should fully disclose his health or resign. The GOP insults voters with hypocrisy and double standards. Public office is a taxpayer-funded job, not a nursing home. Kentucky voters should hold the GOP accountable. Time for change.

The Trump admin is flushing the reputation of federal law enforcement down the toilet. Minnesota cases keep collapsing while courts are swamped with weak immigration prosecutions, diverting resources from fraud, gangs, and drugs. Americans will pay for the damage for years.

Maine voters decide Maine—not the media. Every time a candidate shakes up the race, the political hit pieces start flying. Rumors aren't verdicts, and headlines aren't courtrooms. Apply the same standard to everyone—including the incumbent. Stop trying to tip the scales. Maine decides. Hands off.

This November, voters need to bring the good trouble this failed Congress deserves. Stand up. Speak out. The government belongs to the people—not the powerful elite. They forgot who they work for. Democracy isn’t owned by politicians. It’s time the voters remind them.

If TV stations air election fraud claims that do not exist, they must be held accountable for any resulting harm. This is a disgrace. Someone has to start saying no to the slow demolition of democracy. Truth matters. Facts matter. Accountability should matter.

Nothing says "we're serious" like voting to fund the very thing you're condemning. Dems in Congress keep financing the problem, then hold press conferences to complain. That's not leadership. If stopping the damage is really a priority, a government shutdown seems the only leverage left. Use it.

Breaking: Congress has time to argue about clocks while families struggle without healthcare and deadly ICE operations demand scrutiny. Nothing says "leadership" like debating daylight instead of lives. WTF is wrong with our leaders? Vote for change in Nov.

NDAA. Dems need to show a backbone. Hold it up. This is not about support for the troops, which is ironclad. It’s about no more blank checks for endless wars, waste, and what appears as corrupt practices. The more money they get, the bigger the feast. Voters are tired of the cycle.
