My other boss grows lemons from seed like a BOSS! Mom was floored. I am impressed. One more golfer turned gardener from the social distancing saga of 2020. He still thinks most people are selfish and filthy creatures and he really isn’t completely wrong.

My goodness! I knew it felt bad when I woke up to a headache and the house smelled like a dumpster fire but I didn’t realize how bad it was comparatively. Just spent the morning cleaning and running the small air purifier helped but am going to need to build a better one with my box fan I think.

I see some landlords are charging $25/day late & they don’t have any option but to borrow money to pay from Family or be evicted. In the very city the UCP “affordability” & “reduction of red tape” minister resides. Then there’s the fear of audit & explaining where the $ came from. Stressful as hell!

Walked a few creeks this weekend. This may have been the coolest find on Day 1.

Not many I know can afford the bills they currently pay for utilities. Or the rest of their bills for that matter. They can’t even afford to move. This government is just hellbent on destroying what used to be the Alberta Advantage!

The littlest lawn ornaments have discovered the lettuce in my flower beds. They trimmed all but the marigolds, sunflowers and peppers. I’m retaliating by going to walk up a creek with my best friend. I give up. Road trip it is!

Still seriously considering an LS powered classic. The only car I don’t hate is a Subaru because of the lack of chrome reflections and tech crap I don’t want to learn. Give me a standard transmission too so nobody can steal it😎

I had lush thick green grass when I got home. Mowed on a cool evening and watered the next morning. This horrible dead patch has friends. Both in the sunny and shaded spots. The grass just up and died. I used 2 brands of lawn soil this Spring. Could it be a fungus? How do I stop/fix it? Help!

1600km this trip because a nail in my tire changed my last few days of holiday plans. I am finally home and going to mow and water before I finish the laundry and get ready for work. Can’t wait to get back on the road again soon!

Final stop before home. I really enjoy this spot. It’s rarely ever booked and I sleep so well up here.

Apparently there’s a public gold panning site at the creek nearby. Sounds like a great place to cool off!

Stopped by the Corn Creek Marsh Discovery Centre today and will definitely be back to spend a day walking all of the trails. With an umbrella. It was getting pretty hot as early as it was. Heard so many new to me birds and saw these gorgeous blossoms.

I learned something new about maple trees today! So unexpected and super cool. I want to visit it this Fall to see what it does.

What a dream this would be in Alberta!

My Birthday Lily is a week early but the rest of the yard feels like it is behind. The rain is making everything so green!

Beautiful artwork! This place has always been on my mind as I passed through in a rush to get to Chilliwack. I plan to stop in next time. Greenwood looks very picturesque, and I hear there’s a great taco place.

Planning a holiday should not be so much work!

A great customer reminded me today that I talked him into going on the KVR Trestles tour in July. So, I’d better start planning myself. It was such fun last year!

Well so much for keeping her out. My unwanted lawn ornament shrunk and got cuter…

I just discovered that I have only a few weeks to get mine renewed. Definitely going before the 2nd!
