I know I will sail very close to a heavily armed foreign naval vessel and ignore warnings to back off (likely over radio) and then act all surprised when said naval vessel fires warning shots.
But wait a minute I thought guys like Heath didn’t like a public purse unless it is to fund tax breaks for super wealthy people. Doesn’t he remember Truss?
They could have managed this better. Instead they frightened off loads of decent people who had made careers in care, medicine and nursing and then shipped over loads of people from poorer countries (some ex colonies) who were not as well trained to try and fill the gaps.
I thought her and the Father Ted creator were just writers and quite good ones. When did it become obligatory for them to join in the culture wars and why, especially Lineham who has gone mad.
Harry Potter and Father Ted cannot be enjoyed because their creators have decided to go after the people who took solace from and identified with a bullied half breed wizard and a mishap ridden Irish priest.
I suppose if you don’t do anything then earning that kind of money has merit because you will get richer but people fill their spare income and no amount of taxation is going to stop that. People make themselves poorer generally.
Maybe RFUK are just holding on to the hope that they don’t dip below 25% and grab themselves a majority albeit a bit slim. Once in they can start work on making life worse for everyone.
Love this. I will just leave…what about costs. They may be multi millionaires but they will have to sell their UK homes to show their domicile matches their residency and the country they end up in will squeeze them for the “benefit” of being in that tax haven. Empty talk.
