u can read shitloads of files extremely fast from an HDD (and SSD) if you sort the fragments by location on disk. physically makes sense for HDDs, but I do not understand why it's faster on SSDs as well.

ok so csrss.exe sets the display mode, then DWM wakes up to present a frame. during this, DWM presents a MPO. when it sets the display surface, it also sets the display mode. then csrss, for some reason, wakes up again to set the display mode. then DWM wakes up to present a frame... AAAAAAAA
