It's such a nebulous weird little gray area. It is likely just a gibberish randomly-generated spam email like all the others. I can't imagine trademarks or copyrights apply but...there's always the but.

Here's an interesting question. I got one of those 'turn your dick into a tungsten rod with the sperm power of a thousand suns' spam emails. Fine, whatever, but the title was 'The Horsewood Method' which I think unironically slaps. If I were to use that as a story title, am I violating copyright?

When the thought crosses your mind of "Do I really need to get out of bed today?". that is absolutely when you need to get out of bed. Whoooo doggies, I need to do something to get dopamine going, I think.

Finding the people to read your stuff is half the battle and it's, in my mind, the most difficult. You have to find them, get them to buy, get them to prioritize reading it over something else, get them to review, and get them to be a cheerleader. It's a massive ask for anyone.

I get it. I'm in that area where I can't find a decent job and can't get book sales so it feels nebulous. As long as you are having fun doing it, that is the most important thing.
