this is actually really fun, feels like a weird mix of programming and making music a while ago i tried to do some music programming - i.e. preprogram a sine wave and just play it at certain lengths and intervals through C code. it was hell but this just feels like that idea but much better

i was always curious about trackers, so i finally decided to give [MilkyTracker] a go having notes scroll down instead of a plain midi interface is a pain, so i decided to first write a song in another DAW and then, like, port it over might help with getting the hang of it just in general

i seriously have no idea why this is happening or what i should do to fix this people always talk about "linux audio" issues. well, try "linux pen tablet being insensitive" issues or maybe it's the pen tablet itself that's broken. who knows at this point, i feel like i've tried everything

sometimes when i try to use kolourpaint with my pentablet, when i would try to draw a line, it would just freeze, and then over the course of next few seconds i would sit there, waiting for the line to slowly draw itself i have NO IDEA what is going on with this pen tablet i'm so tired

AAA companies would rather make 1024K textures for dirt (so that when you're in a stupid [Camera Mode] you can fly into it until you start seeing individual atoms) than consider having an art direction

i sure love this future where every product is advertised in such a vague way where you can't even tell what it is it's all just hype videos with flashing colours and NO substance all smoke and mirrors for yet another ffmpeg wrapper sold as a subscription for 199$ a month

they should make midi 2 but instead of saving notes and such it just saves everything in terms of hertz you know, for microtonal stuff and such and also have channels be controlled in terms of bezier curves because that'd be funny

my comment about rewriting hyprland config every few months still stands don't get me wrong, lua is a massive improvement over hyprlang well at least i got an excuse to tidy up the config. you know how it is - you quickly type some BULLSHIIIITTT fix and it stays like that till the end of time
