Oh hello! Come in. Don't sit down, you're not staying long. I draw things, I am autistic, I drink Yorkshire Tea. Is that everything? I think that's everything. (He/him)

What a bizarre condition of the sale.

I'll tell you something, which won't immediately seem related to Revolver. When I was 16, I still hadn't caught the bus into town on my own. Scared of the interaction with the driver - what if it goes wrong? What if I forget what the coins mean? & everyone on the bus is basically your audience.

Happy sixtieth birthday, Revolver x There are so, so many good things I could say about this album, but today I'm just going to say: I really love how Klaus Voorman drew Paul McCartney's ear.

(Oh, why don't I just go for it) Good evening. I am THE GREATEST ARTIST CURRENTLY ALIVE, regularly creating strange little images like the one below. I'm going to repost a few more. You could buy one! Or several! Or two!

I should probably say: if you would like to own a Beatle-album-coloured wolf or wolves, I am more than happy to re-draw for sale :)

It's a wolf! Sort of! With the colour palette of the Rubber Soul cover. Am I going to draw galloping strange wolves for every Beatles album? Of course I am, come on now.

Right now, I'm doing something I've never done before - listening to a full album with Phil Collins' vocals. It's this Genesis album. Never heard their 70s stuff before and thought I should give it a go. Quite like it so far.

Jaws can now fly. No plot. We just see various scenarios - a child's party, a funeral, a meeting at the bank, a minor disagreement in a cafe etc, where, after a minute or so, Jaws just crashes gracelessly in and causes absolute carnage.

let's pretend: Universal announces a screenwriting contest for Jaws 5. What's your pitch?

Had a dream last night that Christopher Nolan had made a film where Bjork & some cats fall back through time to the Second World War and defeat the Nazis whilst they are *all* drunk on champagne on a farm. It was amazing. Genuinely disappointed to wake up and realise it doesn't exist. Stupid dreams.

Oh my gosh. I am quite possibly always going to have this app open. Not for autistic reasons, you understand; for different, less predictable reasons that I've elected not to tell you.

@ewacat.bsky.social do you want flightradar but for trains? www.map.signalbox.io

I was of the opinion (and I'll admit this was partly informed by wanting to agree with other people) that vinyl was absolutely the best format. And then, at some point, I thought, "don't be daft, you prefer CDs and you know you do."

Hot takes are annoying, tell me a strong opinion you had about music at some point in your life that changed

I'm not really a writer but, having given it some thought, I genuinely think I could write a pleasingly unusual one about either of these two albums:

Stop Calling Me Frank

You have a month to write a 33 1/3 book about the album of your choice. Which record are you going to write about? (No previously covered albums allowed; new shit must come to light: see below.) (For all books in the series: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/33_1/3) (H/t @monostich.bsky.social

Emma Kneller. She was our English teacher *and* Drama teacher and she was brilliant. Me and a friend used to write / film ridiculous sketches at school and she encouraged us & happily took part in a couple. Last I heard, she was a teacher in New Zealand. I hope she's having the best of times.

Who was YOUR great english teacher (if you had one)? For me it was Hugh Epstein at Richmond college (RUTC). I hope he's well, wherever he is!
