Very controversial take: what impressed me most about Ep9 is that it did the opposite of what people expected. No grand conspiracy, no final villain, no huge showdown—just a quiet look into the characters' deepest selves. Ironically, that also made it super divisive.

What makes ep9 work so well for me is that Caine earns his own redemption by himself instead of having the humans bring back a "fixed" or "rebooted" version of him... which would've been incredibly tragic from a Ship of Theseus perspective
