Not what she said. But how the fuck are you comparing The Odyssey and a popcorn film about The Odyssey? A faaaaar better film dealing with Greek myth is Cacoyannis's Iphigenia, which is superb, but sadly not a popcorn movie.

Fuck off, you accept that, because you came blasting into Scalzi's thread not mine. You fill your guts to the brim with American pop culture, do you think I care? Wild that you're so hostile to academics, though, as opposed to overrated film directors.

Wow I made a few comments that suggested I didn't like her review, that were certainly more restrained than her on Nolan, and you see that as "blasting in" Oh, and i do accept there are different views, I just think they can be moderate

This *is* moderate. She bent over backwards to mention part of the movie she did like, and Nolan's early movies that she liked. And I think she knows the text and the myth better than you.
