Islam in practice is FAR different from the philosophical version. I almost converted to Islam to marry a Sunni Muslim from Pakistan. I feel I dodged a BIG bullet there, honestly, as their cultural practice of the religion is horrific for women, IMO. #SorryNotSorry All male-dom religion sucks.
