Neuroscientist Angelique Arvanitaki was born 125 years ago today! Born in Cairo to Greek parents, she spent most of her career in France, where she made foundational discoveries about nerve function, including the phenomenon of ephaptic coupling, while working on large mollusc neurons. #WomenInSTEM
