Well this is something StatCounter seems to have done some data revisions and doesn't classify desktops as "other OS" anymore And their July 2026 chart shows Linux shooting up to almost 12% while Windows has fallen below 56% This is VERY imperfect data but that's wild cc: @papapishu.bsky.social
