you may have already tried this but just in case, a few years ago i was having the same problem and realized that the apple pen nib was just extremely loose and tightening it fixed it immediately lol😖 i hope you dont have to get a whole new pen!!
I tried that sadly 😭 this is actually my second pen to do this (first one was a pen i got at a pawn shop... It didn't even last for a year)
