For anti-trans bigots, women's sports is next, and they've said as much. Anyone who doesn't understand this is too stupid or deluded to take seriously.

Calling it the "trans sports issue" is missing the point @seeratsohi.bsky.social . They are transphobic and conflate the weirdo creeps who want to prey on women w trans people trying to exist. Sophie repeating it is adding to the transphobia. Full stop. Trans people are not a threat.

Good faith bigotry, famously a morally better thing to posses than cynical and strategic bigotry. Definitely not just functionally the exact same thing.

very revealing, because if you assert that there is a possible good-faith place to come to this from just “really caring about women’s sports”, it means that you yourself believe that trans women are potentially a legitimate danger to what you consider “real” women’s sports
