Wait just a second, you two agree. Republicans are doing exactly what Republicans want to be doing, supporting ant-democratic authoritarian regimes that kill untold numbers around the world. Alignment with Putin, Orban, Netanyahu, et al is exactly on brand.

I can agree with that , its not like they love Russia , they just love money and there is a lot of it sloshing around in Russia

Exactly, and its dangerous for people to think that Trump is a Putin puppet or sleeper agent or whatever. It minimizes the evil of the GOP by placing responsibility soleley on Trump and Putin. Its a way of saying "a real american wouldn't do this". A comforting thought but wrong.

Same thing is true of the people who think that Russia hacked the election and changed votes. Its a way for them to believe that there isn't evil in the hearta of their friends and neighbors. "Surely a majority of people dont REALLY support this." No, they really did.
