I work in a care home for the elderly, it was quite shocking to see normally fine people struggling to even walk and nearly falling over because their bodies are struggling to cope... obviously we did our best to keep the residents hydrated but there are limits to what we can do

Seriously though, it's too hot, isn't it? The UK is not built for this. Our buildings can't cope. It's going to kill all the wildlife and crops. It will kill lots of elderly people (although we regularly demonstrate we don't care about them).This is not sustainable. So what's the plan?
