These things seem to pop up in unexpected places almost faster than you can blink. #fungus #delicacy Wikipedia came up when I reverse searched the photo - native to NZ, considered a delicacy, mostly at the egg stage. I wonder how you find them before they've gone 'poofph'?? 🤔
