NZ maths curriculum - I'm looking at the new 'Progress Markers' where 'demonstrate number sense' is the first bullet point for students by the end of year 1... Number sense is HUGE. By all means, we'll be working on developing this for YEARS... who put it in Y1 & why? #NZPol #Maths #NumberSense
