I caved and finally got a new phone. I definitely miss the iphone mini form factor (bring it back), but damn is it nice to end the day with 81% battery left rather than having needed to charge it twice.

Yep, the iPhone mini is peak industrial design. I just wish Apple had remembered to install a battery

I don’t know how to hold these new giant-ass iPhones with screens that go edge to edge, and I end up clicking on stuff on my screen with my palm often… But yeah, it’s nice to have good battery life again, and a macro lens!

Still getting used to that indeed 😂 the mini is the superior form factor, i don’t get big phone enthusiasts.

The 17e. That gets me sorted for the next ~6 years and has the best battery life. I'm okay with missing out some of the stuff on the non-budget iPhones like dynamic island, always-on screen, high refresh rates, multiple phone lenses. they're cool but it's a device I'm trying to use less, not more.

I'm all about budget phones anymore. Really bummed Nords are going away along with OnePlus. My screens separated and I'm probably just going to home repair it. I hate shopping for cell phones.
