It also is intended to show how deeply incompetent the current US military leadership is, and how poorly thought out the war is

Trump has ushered in another $trillion dollar war and potentially a global recession.

Just begging for a deal. What a goddamn jackass

Ответ для Bill McCormick

Maybe the drones had notes on them saying “please deal?”

This has to be one of the craziest hits on US assets, showing the US that Iran has some pretty deep reach and capabilities in the region

Omg…yet, what thinking person could not have foreseen the possibility. 🇺🇸🕊️😎

I don't think Iran will stop this activity until Tehran is destroyed.

Ответ для Peter

Why would that cause it to stop? I can imagine the threat of Tehran being destroyed changing the Iranians behavior (not saying it would, but I can imagine it). But once that had happened, I would assume they would want to exact revenge using their many resources that are not dependent on Tehran.

I believe the regime was starting to message the evacuation of Tehran before the war, due to aquifer depletion in the north. Not sure migrating 10-20M people is a real thing, but they are prepared to sacrifice Tehran I think.

It seemed rather infeasible, and presumably even more so now as one would think there's a bunch of infrastructure missing that was there last year. But they were certainly talking about it, and if a city doesn't have water, it's kind of hard for people to live there.

Ответ для mwilbert

Did a quick search to see if there was evidence of pop decline before war, maybe ppl migrating out, and it’s actually the opposite, ppl migrating in from countryside due to water. Just a nightmare scenario unfolding there.

Ответ для TriCap

About 17 million people in entire metro area.

Ответ для TriCap

Can’t believe the U.S. is considering grotesque war crimes under Trump-Hegseth simply because Trump can bear to be seen as the blundering loser he is.

Ответ для Jen d’Arc

I can.

Ответ для mwilbert

Ok, well I guess I *can* believe it but I’m both horrified and ashamed.

Ответ для Jen d’Arc

Oh, it's completely awful and unlawful, but it's not like that makes it unlikely with this administration.

Ответ для Jen d’Arc

We are in a long term mess, Iran is no going away.

Ответ для mwilbert

I read about their water problems, which will unlikely go away.

Ответ для Peter

So the solution is…genocide?

Iran has a much bigger stick than everyone realized? They’re willing to expand this in a much larger scale with assistance from China and Russia, regardless of what trump says about Xi and Putin.

The US and its allies have a lot more targets than Iran.

Impotent Fury now

It seems that somebody has some more cards up their sleeve… And it looks like it’s everybody but Trump. 🤷🏼‍♂️

How many continents have to be involved before we call it World War 3?

That's a really long route without anybody taking down the drone. I could understand if it was a ballistic missile but this is just inexcusable

Ответ для Gruntled old man

Here's an thought... What if that drone didn't have to travel very far at all...

Ответ для Groupvox

Houthi would launch such a drone? /s

Ответ для Groupvox

What are you thinking? (Serious question)

Ответ для hamiltonwaverly

Here's a crazy idea... What if IRGC or adjacent forces had assets in place locally...you know, like maybe they planned for something like this in advance... ( I know, sounds crazy, right ?)

Ответ для Groupvox

Fake news. Anyone knows you don’t plan for war. You just start it to be tough and hope for the best.

Ответ для hamiltonwaverly

You really didn't need to post a picture of those two clowns...we are all painfully aware of who they are.

Ответ для Groupvox

Irian proxy Hamas isn't far away nor is Hezbollah for that matter. Both proxies have no interest in the fighting stopping. Fighting=power, money, resources, credibility and more support.

Ответ для Beave4

Duh...

Ответ для Beave4

Sure, but I don’t think either Hamas or Hezbollah has access to Shahed drones, do they? Weren’t the boats in the Mediterranean hit by drones?

Ответ для hamiltonwaverly

Their equipment is provided by Iran (Syria haa been seizing weapons on the way through). Who knows what they have?

Ответ для Beave4

Allow me to rephrase: I don’t believe there have been any reports of either Hamas or Hezbollah having Shahed drones.

Ответ для Gruntled old man

Long route ? Long route from where ?... nearby warehouse or bushes ?

Ответ для Antifa H.R. Manager on Blueskee

From iran

Ответ для Gruntled old man

Heh....

Ответ для Gruntled old man

Yeah... That's CERTAINLY the ONLY possible place that the IRGC could have assets/sympathizers....

escalation trap

Iran has a really interesting way of apologizing.

But Bibi said that once we killed the Ayatollah they will welcome us as liberators. They weren't supposed to fight back.
