That's the magic of clickbait headlines. There's literally nothing indicating they're doing anything other than making Xbox profitable instead of being subsidized. You don't restructure and invest in media with Amazon/Netflix or gain Disney/Marvel partnerships for games if you're shutting down.

I can see where Asha’s own words might imply they have a hard deadline. But using it as fact for reporting when it’s not definitive is major click bait

My point is that once you read the article, there is no deadline implied. There are only proposed benchmarks of a three year plan by Sharma. The Verge just used intentional language in the title for clickbait. Which I'm honestly getting tired of seeing. Especially since I sub to them.

I don't see that from her own words. All I see is, "Xbox will measure progress toward its goals in three “stages,” Sharma said. The first is to return to growth by the end of fiscal year 2027." The only implied "has a year" is from The Verge. There is no ultimatum presented anywhere else.
