I remember meeting this lovely couple and their two teenagers in cooking class before the pandemic; they were just about to open their dream restaurant in Killeen, Texas. I looked up the name months later and saw a note that it was permanently closed - the mother died from COVID complications. 💔
And now as a nursing student, you can no longer get Federal student loans.
One of the priority needs we have and people wanting to enter the nursing profession won’t be able to get loans.
Like we didn’t already have a chronic shortage of nurses.
I swear, everything they do is designed to kill as many of us as possible so the technoligarchs and Project 2025ians can usher in their “post-humanist,” AI-driven, cyborgasmic dystopia.
I was watching it today thinking what the fuck is wrong with these people. Have they forgotten the terror of Covid, and the dead bodies rotting in trailers because the morgues were full.
I agree! There would've been so many more deaths if we hadn't had Dr. Fauci, and all the wonderful staff that dealt with the crazies. The nurses deserve praise, and their student loans torn up now!
All this has really brought back the trauma of the pandemic and taking care of dying people. Friends who would not take the vaccine because they listen to Fox News, then called to me on their deathbeds wanting me to help. It has not been a good day.
