I love the reversal here. Like at first you kinda feel like Bear is a sweet guy who just lacks confidence, but gradually you work out that he's not sweet AT ALL he just goes through the motions of being nice and he's not. Ever. He's 100% self-centered about everything. He doesn't care about ANYONE.
